The FDA is advising consumers not to eat recalled eggs produced by Rose Acre Farms’ Hyde County farm. According to Rose Acre Farms’ recent Recall Notice, these eggs are sold under multiple brand names, including Coburn Farms, Country Daybreak, Food Lion, Glenview, Great Value, Nelms, and Sunshine Farms. What’s new at the Health Department?
– You can now see a provider 4 days a week at the Health Department. Call 252-926-4399 to schedule an appointment.
– Now accepting debit/credit cards for payment of services! As a reminder, we accept Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurances. Reduced payments based on a sliding scale are also available to those who qualify.
– Did you know that radon exposure is the leading cause of lung cancer among non-smokers? Indoor elevated levels of radon is a preventable and correctable problem. Visit us to pick up a FREE Radon Testing Kit or visit www.ncradon.org to order a free kit online!
