Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Program (BCCCP)
The North Carolina Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Program (BCCCP) provide low-cost or no-cost breast and cervical screening for women who meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Uninsured or underinsured;
- Without Medicare Part B;
- Without Medicaid;
- Between 40-64 years of age for breast screening services and 21-64 years of age for cervical screening services; and
- Have a household income at or below 250% of the federal poverty level.
BCCCP also accepts referrals for breast and cervical cancer screenings from other medical providers. Providers should contact HCHD to initiate the referral.
